"Life as an undergraduate is for a period of time, you remain a graduate till your last breath"

Can we meet you?

My name is Favour Oluwakamimayo Adeosun. I'm from Abeokuta, Gbagura Ogun state. I'm from the family of four and I'm the first child. I'm a Christian, from the Anglican denomination.

What are your outside interest and hobbies

I love writing, sleeping and doing a bit of research. Finding out what's new around me especially in the entertainment industry. I love cooking when I feel like, I like meeting new people. Is that an hobby?

What is the non-legal book you have read and found most interesting

Hmmmmm... The power of focus by Jack Cranifield and An enemy called average..(i can't remember the author) but those two books really shaped my idea of success and always want me settle for great things.

If we may ask, why did you choose law and what is you r biggest accomplishment?

Smile.. I chose law just like everyone will say "To fight for the right of people however since we came across human rights and it's rigidity some of us lost interest" If you ask me now, why did I choose law, it's really a big question but my friend Muyiwa Odubela and I will always say "If not law, what else?" I chose law because it affords me to know more, it gives me this sense of responsibility and helps me  want to solve people's issue. People always respect whatever comes out of the mouth of a lawyer and this I have experienced a lot even if you are saying rubbish, they still listen to you. I'm glad because when I was a law student, I had many indigenes who confinded in me and seeked for my advice on pertinent issues.Let me say I chose law because of the people around me.

My biggest accomplishment for now, is the fact that I'm a law graduate, a lot of things were said, but am glad I proved everyone wrong especially when one of my primary school teachers told me "I'm a disgrace to my family" but today am glad Grace found me though am not yet there but accomplishing this feat really meant a lot because I felt like dropping out at a point. But thank God. My book is also a big accomplishment for me, it exposed me to a lot and taught me valuable lessons

What was your favorite class in OOULAWSS? Why

400l remains my favourite class that's because I made a 4.5 GPA and collected commendation letter. It felt so surreal and gave me more confidence in my inner self.

You released your book BEYOND THE PROPHECIES middle last year, how were you able to cope with school activities, most especially financially constraint related to publishing in Nigeria as at that time

BEYOND THE PROPHECIES remains a book I'm forever grateful for, I'm glad to have authored it, I'm glad God inspired me to write it. I started writing when we went on 400l second semester break, it all started during a conversation with my writing mentor and role model Chris Ikechi-Anyanya, he inspired me to write the book when I told him the story line, I was learning script writing with him at that time. I always had the goal to write a book especially on pertinent issues in the society, I coped with school activities as God always gives me the wisdom to Multi-task, I had finished writing before we resumed a new session. It was a short story so it was easy to figure out. During school period, I was only reading all over then making appropriate corrections, after doing that, I read till am tired. Financial wise, God was faithful extremely faithful he came through for me throughout that period. He blessed me beyond all measures and took all stumbling blocks away.

You were also the erstwhile president of the VEECEE SUCCESS STORIES, did you at any time find this position inconvenient and how were you able to forge ahead of the hurdles

The position was never inconvenient, in fact it was a privilege to have served as the president, I bless God that he gave me the wisdom and understanding to serve the team. It was a call to service. Hurdles, God was also very faithful.

What are your plans after graduation?

Let's see what life brings to the table.

What is that one piece of advice you’d give undergraduates?

Undergraduates should ensure they make hay while the sun shines. It's only when the sun shines your clothes can get dried in time. Don't waste your time on frivolities, study hard, pray and also enjoy your stay in school. Life as an undergraduate is only for a period of time you remain a graduate till your last breath.

Thanks.
