Can we meet you?
1. I am Blessing Kolajo, an Abuja based lawyer and a self-published author. I have authored a total of five books, with the distinction of four of them being accredited texts in Oyo State. In 2021, I successfully completed my studies at Olabisi Onabanjo University, where I had the privilege of serving as the inaugural female president of both the VSS and the Olabisi Onabanjo University Literary and Debating Society. It has been an honour to embark on this remarkable journey.
How was it like being the President of VeeCee Success Stories?
2. It was truly a tremendous honor. I had the privilege of engaging in meaningful conversations with esteemed figures from various universities and sharing their stories to inspire countless individuals. Undoubtedly, it presented its fair share of challenges. However, those very challenges played a crucial role in shaping and equipping me for the promising path that lies ahead.
How do you feel sharing people's success stories?
3. Everytime I had the privilege of celebrating individuals and being entrusted with the responsibility of publishing their incredible stories, it affirms that I am making meaningful contributions in my life. It serves as a profound inspiration to strive for more, as I have the opportunity to learn from the unfiltered and authentic accounts of their lives. This experience fuels my sense of accomplishment and motivates me to continue making a positive impact.
Could you share something that has stood out for you in life as a success story?
4. I have so many, but the one that still feels so surreal was when The Guardian newspaper interviewed me and published my story as one of the leading girls in Nigerian universities. It was the first time I appeared on the pages of a newspaper, and it was something that made my parents and the people around me really proud. It also inspired a lot of young girls, and I felt the impact I was making. Another success that stood out for me was when my first set of published books became state accredited.
Final Word's?
5. Consistency and showing up are key ingredients for success in any endeavour. When we consistently show up and put in the effort, we build momentum and create a strong foundation for growth. It's about making a commitment to ourselves and following through, even when things get tough. By consistently showing up, we develop discipline, resilience, and the ability to overcome challenges. So let's keep pushing forward, staying consistent, and showing up for ourselves and our goals. Success is within reach when we make the choice to never give up.
