1)Could you briefly tell us about yourself ma:
My name is Awolola Adesola Comfort, I am 21 years old, I was born and raised in Lagos state which is where we run the family business. I have vast knowledge and experience in running an hotel, a restaurant, and bar since it’s what we have as the family business. I currently run an online wig store which is COMFYAFFAIRS balancing both lives as a Student and as an entrepreneur with the contact: 08069575146.


2)Kindly tell us about your business and what inspired you to start it?
COMFYAFFAIRS is an online store where you purchase wigs, hair extensions, hair accessories, maintenance kits, etc. It is a trusted online store where one can shop an amazing selection of high-quality, yet-affordable wigs.
I was inspired by my mum who had always wanted to have a wig store, she talks about the benefits, importation, and how lucrative the business is. 


3)How do you manage your time between running your business and being a student?
I create a schedule placing priorities first which is school. I attend tutorials too just to fill in space where I’m lagging. I don’t fix sales dates when I have classes or school duties.


4)Can you walk us through your process for developing and launching a new product or service?
I have to be sure if people need a particular product, I need to have a target audience and be sure of the quality of such product before putting it to market. Most times I talk to my business consultant before taking some steps.


5)How do you handle challenges and obstacles that arise in your business?
I look at the challenge, then what is at stake? How do I solve it? I look for someone that has had similar issues and how they went about it. For example, I used to have issues with delivery to the East some time ago, it takes days to get there and some drivers are arrogant, and even curse out customers, When I noticed it was starting to affect them I had to contact someone that gave me a good logistic company's contact and  then the problem was solved and even better because now customers don’t have to go to the park to meet bus drivers for their packages as it is being delivered to their doorsteps.


6) kindly discuss a specific example of a successful marketing campaign you have implemented for your business?
I advertise with every little chance I get(that is the main key for me). I try as much as possible to go to gatherings where ladies would be attending in large numbers, get their contacts because for them seeing me physically already creates some kind of trust and it makes things easy that way.


7)How do you stay current and informed about industry trends and developments in your field?
I join so many online groups to get videos and pictures, and I watch online videos on installations, DIY wig coloring so many others. Most importantly I don’t rely on my knowledge only.


8) Have you had any successful partnership or collaboration with another business or individual?
I have not had a partnership or collaboration with anyone so far.


9)How do you measure the success and growth of your business?
I would say the first 6 months was tough and like hell. I hardly sell a dime however, now I am doing pretty well and proud of the woman I'm becoming.


10) Pls tell us about any challenge or failure you experienced in your business and how you overcame it?
Just like the answer given to the aforementioned question talking about having issues with delivery .


11)How do you plan on scaling and growing your business in the future?
The main goal is to reach more audiences, more people getting to know my brand, and get to own a walk-in store soon which would help my business greatly.
